Momentum
Advertising & Design has once again been honored for their advertising
excellence in medical marketing with a 2012 Aster Award. Momentum Advertising & Design earned a silver
award in the Cardiac/Vascular service category for hospitals in the 150-299
beds group. The entry name for the campaign was “Caring from the Heart” and was
developed on behalf of their client St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital.
“We
are extremely proud to have been selected for this distinguished award again,”
said Steve Mayhew, President of Momentum Advertising & Design. “It is
particularly gratifying to earn these awards in conjunction with our client St.
Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, who is intimately involved in the creative process
with us. These awards help illustrate how having a symbiotic working
relationship with a client can result in the development of a highly successful
marketing campaign,” continued Mr. Mayhew.
The Aster Awards is an annual medical marketing
contest allowing healthcare organizations and advertising agencies to compete
against competitors from across the nation and world. This elite national program recognizes
outstanding healthcare professionals for excellence in their
advertising/marketing efforts. Momentum Advertising & Design scored in the
top twelve percent of all submissions nationwide.
The 2012
Aster Awards consisted of approximately 3,000 entries from across the United
States as well as Canada and South America.
Judging criteria includes creativity, layout and design, functionality,
message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal. The 2012 Aster
Awards program contained some of the best advertising, arguably, in the
world. “The judge’s expectations were
again surpassed,” said Melinda Lucas, Aster Awards Program Coordinator.
The Aster Awards were hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today magazine, as well as, Creative Images,
Inc. Creative Images, Inc. is an
internationally recognized firm that has specialized in strategic healthcare
marketing for over 17 years.
Entries
in the Aster Awards were judged by a diverse panel of healthcare marketing
experts. All winners are posted on the
Aster Awards’ website (www.AsterAwards.com), as well as published in Marketing Healthcare Today, a national
healthcare marketing magazine.
