Momentum Advertising & Design Wins 2012 International Davey Award


Earns Gold Award for Anthony’s Pier 9 Sales Collateral Package

(Fishkill, N.Y. November 1, 2012)  The winners of the 2012 Davey Awards have been announced by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) and Momentum Advertising & Design is being honored for their creative excellence with a gold award in the Sales Collateral Package category. The entry materials were developed for Anthony’s Pier 9, a catering facility operated by their client, Bonura Hospitality Group.

“This award means a lot to our team here at Momentum,” said Steve Mayhew, President. “We worked extremely closely with our client, Bonura Hospitality Group, to create a high-end collateral package that was both visually stunning and elegant.  Being honored by the IAVA provides great recognition for the efforts of our incredible design team.”

The 2012 Davey Awards consisted of nearly 4,000 entries from ad agencies, interactive agencies, production firms, in-house creative professionals, graphic designers, design firms and public relations firms.  The Davey Awards is judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a “Who’s Who” of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms.

The Davey Awards is an international creative award focused exclusively on honoring outstanding creative work from the best small firms worldwide. It honors the achievement of the “Creative David’s” where strength comes from ideas, intelligence and out-of-the-box thinking, not a “Giant’s” bankroll. In determining Gold and Silver winners, entries are judged on their merits based on a standard of excellence determined by the IAVA, considering the category entered.  Entries are scored on a ten-point scale with Gold Winners achieving a score of 9.0 or above.
